Daniel Deme PhD. is a journalist and editor at the foreign affairs desk with the Hungarian daily newspaper Magyar Hírlap.
Previously he worked at Roehampton University London as a lecturer in theology, and is an author of a number of books and articles on the subject of medieval studies. He is a former administrator at the Institute for the Study of Civil Society (CIVITAS) thinktank in London, and editor of Civitas Review. Before moving to Budapest four years ago, he worked at the US Embassy in London, at the department of Public Affairs. Daniel Deme is also a publicist and a contributor to Remix News, an English language online newsportal focusing mainly on reporting from the Visegrad 4 countries.
