Stringbike Ltd. was founded to introduce highly innovative, string-driven bicycle models onto the market.
The two-wheeler bicycles, which are unbelievably smooth and dynamic to ride, have been commercialised since 2012; a couple of hundred of units are sold each year in the European Union, USA, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. In June 2012, one of our first models were tested at the Race Across America by a Hungarian racing cyclist, Ferenc Szőnyi. The bike performed without any fault, and Mr Szőnyi finished the competition in the 14th place.
In 2016, the StringHandBike product was proposed, which can be connected to wheelchairs and boost the mobility of their users in a healthy way. We have a workshop in Budapest.
