Innovative Ideas in Aeronautics – How Flying Machines Broaden the Way We Think About Mobility

about

Máté is a Tech Strategy, Policy and Regulatory Expert with 12+ years of experience in the fields of technology, telecommunications, autonomous driving and drones, having provided assistance to or managing key projects of governments, organizations and several F500 tech companies.

Until recently at ExplicoTech he led a team of international and multi-disciplinary trained experts in carrying out all-scale projects, specializing in identifying, predicting and analyzing disruption trends and the impact of regulation in the tech sector. Prior to this role, he amongst others served as a strategic advisor for the National Infocommunications Authority of Hungary (NRA) for regulation and later became a head of unit at the Ministry of National Development, where he supervised the EU telecommunications legislative dossiers during Hungary’s EU presidency and took part in the drafting of Hungary’s digital strategy. Soon after, he used his tech and telco expertise in the private sector where he worked for several years as an Associate at OPL, a Budapest-based international law firm and Chief consultant at Explico CEE, a regional public policy and regulatory consultancy. Besides his work, Máté acts as Board Member of the Hungarian Scientific Association for Infocommunications and is also a regular guest lecturer at several universities and conferences in the region.
