Chang Woon Lee is the President of the Korea Transport Institute (KOTI). Before being appointed to the position, he accumulated experience in various positions in KOTI including Vice President, and researcher at System Engineering Center at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
He served as a member on multiple committees under Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), including the National Transport Committee and Rail Transport Industry Committee. He worked as a Senior Transport Specialist of the World Bank Group through the KOTI-World Bank Secondment Program in 2012.
He obtained his PhD in Transport from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, France.
